Sponsored Residential (Age 18+)
At All About You Residential Care, our sponsored residential services provide adults diagnosed with developmental disabilities the opportunity to live in a safe, family-like setting while receiving the support and care they need to thrive in their community. This service is designed to help individuals acquire, retain, or improve essential skills, such as self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills, through personalized, skill-building, and safety supports. These services are offered in the homes of trained family members or sponsors, under the supervision of All About You Residential Care.
Our sponsored residential services focus on promoting independence, enhancing quality of life, and ensuring that individuals can successfully reside in home and community settings. With ongoing support and guidance, individuals develop the skills needed to live a fulfilling and independent life.
Key Features of Our Sponsored Residential Services:
- Skill-Building & Routine Supports: We assist individuals in building essential skills related to activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), promoting independence in everyday tasks.
- Community Integration: Our services include skill-building related to the use of community resources, such as transportation, shopping, dining, and participating in social and recreational activities, to foster greater inclusion in community life.
- Behavioral Support: We help individuals replace challenging behaviors with positive, accepted behaviors in both home and community environments.
- Health and Safety Supports: We monitor and support individuals’ health and physical condition, assist with medication management, and ensure a safe environment, both at home and during transportation to and from community locations.
- Flexible and Individualized Care: Sponsored Residential Services can be provided individually or to up to two individuals in the same home, based on their unique support needs, and are tailored to meet each individual’s person-centered goals.
This service is covered under the Community Living (CL) Waiver and is authorized based on the individual’s needs determined through a person-centered planning process. Our sponsored residential providers are trained to provide the support and care necessary for each individual to live successfully, develop new skills, and actively engage in their community.
